Subscription Terms

By using our Services, you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read them carefully!

Subscription Terms

• Course Creators can subscribe to CourseStack Services on a Monthly or Annual basis.
• Interactive System usage is billed monthly, or whenever $50 of usage has been accrued.
• Course purchases and course runtime credits (for students) are one time purchases.

Renewals

• All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the subscription term (monthly or annual).
• We will use saved payment methods to automatically charge for subscription renewals unless canceled prior to the renewal date.

Cancellation

• Course Creators may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings.
• After cancellation, Course Creators will maintain access to the platform and all functionalities until the end of the current billing period.
• A final bill for any usage accrued during the last billing cycle will be issued at the end of the subscription period.
• Students enrolled in courses where a Course Creator has canceled their subscription will maintain access to those courses for the originally purchased access period.

Refunds

• Course Refunds:
  - Students may request a course refund at any time directly from the course author.
  - Course refunds are subject to the course author's individual refund policy.
  - If no policy is specified, students may receive a refund up to 7 days after course purchase.
• Subscription Refunds:
  - Course Creators can request a refund for a monthly or annual subscription provided no system usage has been accrued which would result in a bill to the Course Creator, no courses have been published (regardless of whether there have been any course sales), and it has not been more than 3 months (for annual subscriptions only) since the start of the subscription. If a refund is granted for a subscription, the Course Creator(s) will immediately lose all access to the platform.

General Terms

• Account Responsibility: 
  - Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.
  - Any activity under a user’s account is the responsibility of the account holder.
  
• Acceptable Use: 
  - Users must comply with all applicable laws and must not use the service for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
• Limitation of Liability:
  - CourseStack is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
• Changes to Terms:
  ‍- CourseStack reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
