CourseStack is in Beta!

Today we’re officially launching our beta program, where early partners on the platform can build and publish live courses which have real students enrolled!

It’s been a busy three months to get to this point, and the team is really excited to hear everyone's feedback! Hats off to Barrett and Evan for all the work pulling this together so quickly.

CourseStack Beta Features

Even though we’re early, we’ve got a pretty fully featured platform with some powerful functionality geared specifically towards the technical content creator. With CourseStack, you can:

• Use Systems and System Groups - Configure and directly integrate Systems and System Groups within your courses, providing seamless access to powerful standalone or networked virtual machines. 
• Publish Courses - Build and publish technical courses to a fully functional, lightweight LMS.
• Earn Money - Set a price for your courses or offer them on a pay-what-you-can model. 
• Track Progress  - Monitor your student’s enrollments and progress throughout your course. 
• Engage and Troubleshoot - Hear feedback or trouble shoot through student issues with context rich help requests and direct access to student Systems.

Coming to CourseStack in GA

We’ll be hard at work throughout the beta to incorporate your feedback and make the platform even better for technical content creators. Here are just a few of the things we’re already working on:

• Inline Terminals - Connect directly to your systems to give your students the best inline scripting experience without leaving the CourseStack LMS
• Custom Progress Tracking - Write custom progress tracking rules that hook directly into your students’ systems to detect arbitrary tasks. 
• Assessments & Certifications - Build formal assessments and attach digital certifications that prove students have successfully completed your course.
• External API - Enable custom workflows around student onboarding, course building, custom image importing, and more through a flexible API.
